Attorney Practice Philosophy

The law is often a difficult field to navigate, and Jessica considers it a privilege to assist clients as they face difficult and challenging situations which can significantly impact their lives.

Education and Background

A native of Eugene, Oregon, Jessica earned both her undergraduate degree in International Relations and her J.D. from Creighton University.

Employment History

Jessica has been with Arnold Law for 11 years and is known for her skilled advocacy both in and out of the courtroom. Before specializing in family law, she built a broad legal foundation practicing criminal defense in federal, state, and municipal courts, complex civil litigation, and representing university students in student conduct hearings – experience that enhances her ability to navigate multi-faceted legal issues with clarity and confidence.  In 2024, Jessica became a Partner at Arnold Law. She brings over a decade of experience guiding clients through some of the most complex and emotionally charged aspects of family law. Her practice focuses on high-asset divorce, child custody disputes, and domestic partnerships, with a strategic and compassionate approach tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Career Honors

Jessica has been recognized by Super Lawyers as an Oregon Rising Star in Family Law for five consecutive years (2021-2025), a distinction awarded to only a small percentage of attorneys in each state.

Community and Volunteer Work

Jessica is a committed leader in the legal community, serving on the Oregon State Bar Family Law Executive Committee. She is also deeply involved in local nonprofit work – she co-chairs the live auction for the Relief Nursery’s Main Event and currently serves as President-Elect of the Board of Directors for Positive Community Kitchen, which provides healthy meals to individuals undergoing cancer treatment and other life-altering, health-related issues.

Hobbies and Interests

Outside of her legal and volunteer commitments, Jessica enjoys life in Eugene with her husband, a financial advisor, and their three children.
